Hum & Breathe Constipation Away

Constipation can be exacerbated by stress. Ignoring the urge to defecate, or pass gas, is often associated with a belief that there is not enough time to attend to our personal needs. With pressure to accomplish other tasks in our home or work lives, we sometimes prioritize in favor of ignoring nature's call which can result in constipation.

Practice the following, simple technique to help reduce stress, and clear your head like a fresh breeze on a hot day! Tuning into the healing vibrations of the sound of your own voice can be instantly relaxing. Be aware, and listen to the sound with your full attention.

Take one finger on each hand, and while plugging each ear, take a deep breath counting to 3. Pause for a moment, and make a humming sound as you slowly exhale through the nose, counting to at least 6. Listen to, and feel, the vibration within your head. Do this 3 times,
with the eyes closed.

1. Plug up your ears.
2. With eyes closed, take a deep breath.
3. Hum deeply while you exhale through the nose.
4. Feel the vibration.
5. Now go have a bowel movement!

Taking 3-5 minutes to do humming breathing will leave you more relaxed, refreshed, energized. With less stress it is easier to open your heart. With an open heart, it is easier to be kind, loving, compassionate, intelligent, effective and not constipated!
