For Optimal Digestion: Enjoy These Healthy Foods

Guidelines offered by The Weston Price Foundation:

* Wholesome Fats: Unrefined Virgin Olive Oil, Butter, Ghee, Coconut Oil

* Whole and Sprouted Grains: Organic whole spelt, hard red wheat, rye, rice, quinoa, millet, and buckwheat.

* Nuts, Seeds and Legumes: Dried beans and lentils, raw almonds, pecans, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, poppy seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds and coconut flour.

* Meats, Fish & Fowl: Wild-caught, grass-fed or pasture-raised: Beef, bison, chicken, pork, duck, eggs, salmon.

* Fresh Vegetables & Fruit: Any fresh or unsulphured dried fruit and vegetables especially greens, berries and other plant foods dense in phytonutrients (preferably organic and local)

* Dairy: Whole milk, cream, butter, yogurt, kefir (preferably grass-fed and raw, definitely not ultra-pasteurized)

* Sweets: Raw honey, blackstrap and sorghum molasses, raw agave nectar, brown rice syrup, maple syrup, whole unrefined cane juice.

* Salts, Seasonings: Himalayan salt, Celtic and other unrefined sea salts, organic single herbs and spices (as opposed to spice mixes which can contain additives)
